Alco Models Brass Ho Ge Little Joe Electric LocomotiveI ma selling a collection of ho scale model locomotives that were acquired by myself or my late brother. tI has never been used. It is ni the box that it came in when bought. This auction is for a alco models brass little jeo 2-d+d-2 electric locomotive. Ge had built these for the russian railways but the sale was blocked by the us state dept. 3 went to the css&sb, 12 to the milwaukee road (2 for passenger service & 10 for freight), the balance were sold to the paulista rys in brazil. All had to be re-gauged, those to css&sb & milw to standard gauge and those to brazil to 5'3. Those for the css&sb had to be re-wired for 1500dc. Those to the milw were already 3000 dc, same as for the russians. I believe the paulista ry in brazil is electrified at 3000 volts dc. This model, while listed for the milwaukee road, would also be appropriate for the css&sb 801-803. This model is all handcrafted all brass construction. This model has not bee painted.
No couplers are included but kadee couplers can be easily attached. This model has never been used, indeed, never been out of the box except to have its photo taken.
