Antique chicago northwestern ry railroad stoneware jug. Up for auction is this exrtemely rare antique chicago & northwestern ry. Co. Railroad stoneware jug. A little research shows thta the ry. Stands ofr railway at the time the jug was in service. I have taken many photos for you to view and to study and to show that the jug is still in good sound condition, but does show some usage chips on the top area, which you can see in the photos. The rest of the jug looks fine. Teh photos pretty much show its overall condition. Nohting that takes away from the rarity of this wonderful piece of stoneware. Just usage chips which is expected of an item which was made to be used.
I hvae also taken some photos with a ruler to show that the jug measures 11-1/4 tall and 7 in diameter, and weighs 6-1/4 pounds. Still a very nice and very rare piece of railroad memorabilia, but primitive items such as this are always sold as-is as-found. This item will be shipped very reasonable via fedex rgound with tracking and insurance included for a flat rate charge of $9.95. Items are shipped via fedex ground only, so i will need a physical shipping address from the winning bidder for this item ot be shipped.
