Southern Pacific Cp Huntington Transistor Am Radio3683Up for bid is this vintage desktop transistor am radio, designed into a model of the c. P. Huntington, southern pacific railroad's famous locomotive no 1, with the original box. The radio measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 x 12 3/8, and operates with a single 9-volt battery. The volume and station selector are acutally the 2 smokestacks ( it took a while to figure that one out). The best fetaure of all- the radio works fine. The radio is in excellent condition, and the box is in very nice condition with the exception being that the end flaps are a little rough. The radio was made in hong kong. I will be listing over 1000 us trade tokens, automotive tokens, encased cents, etc, from now theough the end of november.
