Teh wooden base is marked w. U. Tel. Co. Main line sounder 15b 120 ohms. This sounder has been tested and it works! Mainline sounders could connect to a telegraph wire without using a relay. This sounder has an adjustment knob.This sounder is mounted on a wooden base with two wiring connectors on the top and three feet on the bottom. This is a great piece for the collector of early morse code telegraph memorabilia, railroad memorabilia, or for the collector of telegraph equipment.
